The two-year undergraduate diploma program known as the D.El.Ed., or Diploma in Elementary Education, covers a range of teaching techniques, historical trends, philosophical theories, and contemporary classroom practices. Improving each student's drive, outlook, and commitment to a career in elementary education as well as various other areas including psychology and philosophy is the main objective of the Diploma in Elementary Education course. A diploma-level program called D.El.Ed. can be undertaken following class 12. Students pursuing a D.El.Ed. are prepared to teach at the primary/upper elementary level. The D.El.Ed curriculum covers a variety of subjects, including child development, educational technology, psychological perspectives on education, school leadership and management, and others.

The two-year diploma program is full-time and can be finished with classroom instruction. The four semesters of the course train students to work in upper elementary and primary schools in different states across the nation. The D.El.Ed program aims to integrate classroom instruction with internships and hands-on experience. It also includes the teacher's role in grooming students, child development theories, and educational practices.
